Collagen Stimulators

A youthful glow, with a Brazilian touch.

What Are Collagen Stimulators?

Collagen biostimulators are substances that promote the production of collagen, which is one of the main structural proteins of the skin. This treatment offers more than just the filling effect, while it provides the volume it works over time to stimulate collagen for long-lasting results. With our personalized touch, it makes the treatment even more worthwhile because our techniques are unlike the others. We inject the perfect amounts reflecting the Brazilian contour and aesthetic. Sculptra is one of the brands we use for collagen stimulation. Its main purpose is to diminish wrinkles and facial folds and it has been clinically approved to treat smile lines and other lines around the chin and mouth. Its other approved areas it can be administered is for non-surgical buttock augmentation (or butt lift), it can correct cellulite, and other wrinkles found on the chest, elbow, or knees. Sculptra has become a favoured choice for those seeking to bulk up their appearance. It creates definition and enhances the look of muscle mass in certain regions of the body. Read more on Sculptra.

Another long-lasting collagen stimulator we use here at ML Aesthetics Clinic, it is known to smooth away wrinkles and improve overall skin quality in the long term. Radiesse can be administered for numerous reasons such as the following; immediate correction of moderate to severe wrinkles, lifts and contours, and for softer skin. However, it’s important to note that this specific brand cannot be administered in areas with thin skin because of its viscosity. It’s one of our favourite uses here at our clinic because it has consistently proven how amazing results can be.

We apply topical numbing cream to the regions that are going to be injected to ensure a painless and comforting experience.
We advise you on the appropriate aftercare to avoid complications, but we always recommend applying an ice pack to the affected areas to calm and soothe the skin.
Both Sculptra and Radiesse are very similar products but they have different compositions which means that Sculptra can be used in various areas where Radiesse cannot, and vice versa.
